For people with reduced mobility

Disability Access

Staatliche Schlösser und Gärten Baden-Württemberg endeavours to provide barrier-free access to its sites for people with reduced mobility. Because of the historic nature of the buildings, this is unfortunately not always possible. Here you can find out more about access to specific heritage sites.

There is barrier-free access to certain areas of the Heidelberg Palace complex, including the new visitor centre and toilets. The use of wheeled walkers can be difficult and is not recommended.
All walking sticks used must have rubber feet.
