DECLARATION ON BARRIER-FREE ACCESS

The State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg endeavor to make their website accessible to all in accordance with Section 10 (1) of the Landesbehindertengleichstellungsgesetz (L-BGG) (state disabilities act).

This declaration on accessibility applies to the State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg website located at www.schloesser-und-gaerten.de as well as the linked sites for the individual monuments of the State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg.

Current compliance with requirements

We have long been developing the website to be in complete compliance with Section 10 (1) of the L-BGG and to offer complete accessibility. An independent BITV-Test (barrier-free information test) by the BITV-Test-Prüfverbund testing association is planned in the near future. We will publish the results here as soon as we receive them.

The basis for the BITV-Test is the Federal Ordinance on Barrier-Free Information Technology (BITV 2.0) from May 21, 2019. This means that the test includes the new requirements of the WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

This declaration was made on November 4, 2020.
