Corona-Virus COVID-19 NOTES FOR YOUR VISIT

In Baden-Württemberg, the so-called 3G proof, the presentation of a vaccination, convalescent or test proof, currently applies to indoor rooms and event areas. In addition, there is an obligation to record the contact details of all guests as well as the obligation to wear masks in indoor areas.

Notes for your visit of our monuments

REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR VISIT

With the Corona Ordinance of the Baden-Württemberg State Government of 15 September 2021, the following requirements currently apply for visiting our monuments:

  • 3G proof:
Presentation of proof of vaccination, convalescence or test: Vaccination documentation (vaccination card or vaccination certificate) of a complete vaccination (at least 14 days ago), a certificate of an infection confirmed by PCR test (not older than 6 months), a negative Corona test (not older than 24 hours) from an official testing centre (test centre, pharmacy or similar) or a negative PCR test (not older than 48 hours) must be presented.
Children up to and including five years of age, children up to and including seven years of age who have not yet started school, as well as primary school pupils, pupils of a special educational and counselling centre, a school that builds on primary school or a vocational school (testing at school) are excluded.
  • Collection of contact details:
There is an obligation to collect and process the contact details of guests for possible infection chain tracing in accordance with Section 6 of the Corona Ordinance. This can be done on site, via the Luca app or via the contact form below.

In addition, a warning system has been in effect in Baden-Württemberg since 16 September 2021. This means that stricter regulations apply when there are signs of overcrowding in hospitals:
At the so-called warning level, if a test proof is required, this must be a PCR test.
At the so-called alert level, the G2 proof (presentation of proof of vaccination or convalescence) applies.

Exceptions to the PCR requirement and 2G restriction:

  • Children up to and including 5 years of age
  • Children up to and including seven years of age who have not yet started school
  • Primary school pupils, pupils of a special education and counselling centre, a school that builds on primary school or a vocational school (testing at school) - Persons up to and including 17 years of age who no longer attend school (in this case, however, a negative antigen test is required)
  • Persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons (medical evidence required and negative antigen test required)
  • Persons for whom there is no general vaccination recommendation by the Standing Commission on Vaccination (STIKO) (then negative antigen test required).

The warning levels are proclaimed:

Warning level: if the hospitalisation incidence reaches or exceeds the value of 8.0 for five consecutive working days or the occupancy rate of intensive care beds in BadenWürttemberg reaches or exceeds the value of 250 for two consecutive working days.
Alert level: if the hospitalisation incidence reaches or exceeds 12.0 for five consecutive working days or the utilisation of intensive care beds in Baden-Württemberg reaches or exceeds 390 for two consecutive working days.

The mask obligation does not apply to outdoor areas, unless it can be assumed that the minimum distance of 1.5 metres from other persons cannot be reliably maintained.
Please bring a suitable mask with you.
